Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Hyundai Tucson and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT factory prep seven-pole kit. Now if your Hyundai Tucson is prepped to have trailer wiring connected up to it, this seven-pole is gonna be extremely easy to get installed. It's especially easy if you're doing it at home. There's a lot of different kits that are very difficult to get into place on certain vehicles, but as long as you have that factory connector, which is gonna be right up behind our bumper piece here, you look up there, ours was wrapped with blue tape so you can see it. But the factory connectors there, this kit's gonna plug right into it. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. If you have a hitch on your vehicle, it's always worth maybe adding that four-pole trailer wiring harness. So if you're ever in a situation where you do have to hook up to a trailer or tow something, maybe just once or twice, you're gonna have the light functions that will translate to the taillights on the trailer keeping you safe and legal when you use your running lights, your turn signals and brake lights. This kit in particular is specifically for the Palisade and that makes it super easy. So it tees into your factory wiring of your taillights by using a OEM style plug. So it just kind of jumpers in between the two. more

Hey guys, it's take Jake with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Hyundai Palisade and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness. Now the biggest reason why you would want to install a four-pole trailer wiring harness on your Palisade is because you're wanting to pull a trailer that has a four-pole wiring harness. If you want to pull a trailer that has brakes on it, you're gonna wanna upgrade to a seven pole. We have an ETBC7 kit on our website that will go great with the Palisade and this Curt kit in order to get brakes and your auxiliary and your reverse lights to that trailer. But for our case, they're wanting to pull a small utility trailer that does not have any, it doesn't have the seven pole, and it doesn't have brakes on it. more

This 7-Way just simply plugs into the factory connector as you have a tow package on your vehicle. And that way, you can hook up to your trailer, giving you your running lights, brake lights, turn signals. Now also, this is gonna be required if you plan on using a brake controller. So, this is a good option, that way, you can adjust those trailer brakes, and use 'em while towing. Now, it's easy access and spring loaded here, so when you put your plug in, it's gonna lock that in place, and also, it's going to spring close. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at installing the CURT 7-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2022 Hyundai Palisade. Now having a seven pole is gonna give you your lighting functions when pulling a trailer, and also the potential ability to be able to have a brake controller. Now, in order to have that brake controller, you are gonna have to pick up a few more things to make that work but a seven pole is required in order for that to be a possibility. Now, this is a, for a factory tow package which makes it simple to just plug and play. And overall, the installation's very easy. Now we've gone ahead and mount it up to the factory mounting point, that was on the factory hitch that had a factory four pole but we've swapped it out. more

Here we have our trailer wiring installed and really what you're gonna be getting is plugging into your factory lighting, allowing you to hook up your trailer to this four pull and that's gonna give you your running lights and your turn signals, as well as your brake lights on the trailer behind you. So, it's gonna let people behind you know what you're doing, It's gonna keep you safe and legal as well. Now, the harness is custom made for this vehicle and it's really nice to be able to just plug and play, as it uses an OEM style factory plug, It's really easy to get it to underneath here and can absolutely be done in your driveway or garage, in probably less than 10 minutes. It's pretty easy, comes with all the zip ties as well as a self tapper or double-sided tape to mount the module, and the module is gonna be protecting your vehicle in case you get back feed from your trailer, it's gonna protect your factory lights from becoming damaged. more

Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt T-connector wiring harness here on our 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. So this is what our trailer wiring harness is gonna look like installed. We have our four-pole mounted on the outside of the vehicle. Everything else is gonna be hidden behind these panels here. So in regards to actually securing the four-way to the vehicle, we just used a larger zip tie and secured it to the bumper or the hitch tube here. You can actually choose a little bit more of a permanent method, gives you a little bit nicer finish, using a series of two brackets, which we sell at etrailer. more

Hey everybody, how is it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Wiring Harness here on a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. So, this is what our trailer connector is gonna look like installed. As you can see here, we have a very clean, finished installation look. Now, granted, this may vary a little bit depending on what trailer hitch you have. And the reason I say this, because, if you have the factory trailer hitch, there's actually a built-in four-pole mounting bracket on there that we secured the trailer connector to. Now, some aftermarket options also have this built-in trailer connector, but if you don't have a built-in trailer connector on your trailer hitch, not to worry, there's a series of two brackets you can purchase to attach it to the hitch tube. more

Today on your 2012 Hyundai Sonata, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install, Curt's Four-Pole Vehicle Wiring Harness.This is what our wiring harness looks like when it's installed. It will provide you with a four flat trailer connector, which gives you all of your necessary lighting signals, which includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps to ensure your DOT compliant in all states and everybody behind you knows your intentions when going down the road. What I like about this harness is that it's an extremely quick and easy installation as it just plugs in line between your driver and passenger side tail light assemblies. There is a ground wire we have to hook up, but you can easily do that with a ground stud located behind it.There is a module that's included with this harness that is part of the harness. And what it's also able to do, not many people think about is, a lot of hitch mounted accessories, things like cargo carriers and things of that nature actually have lights on them that you can use. In many times this accessories are able just to plug right in to the four way flat connector. And that will work good with this as well. more

It's going to give us our taillight function, turn signals, and brake lights.Our wiring is designed to stay on the outside of the vehicle at all times, which is nice because it'll be right by our hitch whenever we need to tow. It's also going to come with a dust cap to keep all that dirt, debris, and moisture out of there and hopefully prevent any kind of corrosion on your connector. This is what our wiring is gonna look like when it's installed on our Sonata ready for use. It's gonna hang out the back of the trunk and be clamped in between our weather stripping. It's gonna hold it in place without causing any damage to the wiring. It's gonna provide you with all of your necessary lighting, which includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps keeping you DOT compliant and all states.When you're ready to use your wiring simply pull it out, drape it over the back making sure to avoid the striker in the middle, and then you can just close the trunk. more

Today on our 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're gonna be installing Tekonsha's T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness for factory tow packages, part number 118269. This is what our harness is gonna look like once it's installed. It's gonna offer four-pole wiring, so it's gonna give you your left turn signals, right turn signals, tail lamps and brake lamps, so it'll be DOT-compliant in all states. It has a dust cap included with it, to help keep out any dirt and debris, to ensure a long-lasting connection, as well as giving it a way to keep it up from dangling down by attaching it to your safety chain loop on your hitch.The module reads all the signals and sends them to the four-pole connector. In line, it's fuse-protected, so if there's any faults on your trailer, it will just open the fuse and it won't cause any faults to your vehicle. This is one of the quickest and easiest installations, as it plugs directly into your factory tow package connector. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2017 Hyndai Santa Fe, we're gonna be installing Tekonsha's T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part number 118571.This vehicle wiring harness is gonna provide you with all the necessary lighting you need for your trailer. This includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps. So you'll be DOT-compliant in all states.What's great about this harness is that it is powered with its own dedicated wire and fuse, so it won't interfere with any signals on your vehicle if there was a short on your trailer. The fuse would just open and you could replace it. The module will connect inline between your taillights, so whenever it sees a signal on one of your taillights, it then produces that signal and sends it down to your four-fold flat trailer connector.There's a dust cap located on the end, and this'll help keep out any dirt and debris when it's not in use. Additionally, it can be used to hold your harness up off the ground, right here on your trailer hitch.We'll begin our installation here at the back of the vehicle. more
